US Airways was one of the largest airlines in the world and had an extensive international and domestic network of 193 destinations in 24 countries across North America, South America, Europe and The Middle East, until it ceased operation in October 2015. After merging with American Airlines in 2013, the brand US Airways was then discontinued in late 2015. A former Star Alliance member and Oneworld affiliate, US Airways was founded in 1937 as All American Aviation, and began it’s operations in 1939. Since US Airways’ merger the airlines have together operated 344 destinations with a fleet of 945 aircraft.
