easyJet was founded in 1995 and is an international low cost airline. With headquarters at the London Luton Airport, it has 20 bases across Europe. Online check-in
All easyJet passengers must check-in online before their flight. Web check-in is available from 30 days up to 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure. Passengers only travelling with hand luggage may proceed to the security control with their printed easyJet boarding pass. Passengers that have checked luggage can drop it off at the Bag Drop desk at least 40 minutes before flight departure.
All passengers must check-in online as easyJet no longer offers airport check-in. Airport check-in desks will be strictly for passengers that need to drop off checked bags.
The boarding gate closes 30 minutes before the scheduled flight departure. Any passengers not present at least 30 minutes ahead of departure will not fly.Finally, all passengers are required to present an accepted form of identification for all flights, including domestic.
Cabin luggage allowance
Passengers are allowed to carry one piece of hand luggage on board easyJet flights. Hand bags, laptops, briefcases, etc. are also counted as one piece. If you would like to guarantee that your hand luggage will travel with you it must be no larger than 50 x 40 x 20cm.
Checked baggage allowance
Passengers can pay for a hold bag with a maximum weight of 20kg. Bags that go over the maximum weight are subject to excess weight fees. No bag over 32kg will be accepted. It is recommended to check bags and buy extra weight online as prices at the airport are much higher.
Tip: Passengers on the same booking can "share" weight. This means that if there are two people on the same flight booking they have a total weight allowance of 40kg which can be distributed in the bags as the passengers wish. Example: One passenger has a bag weighing 15kg and the other has a bag weighing 25kg.

Pleasant flight. trouble free
Flight delayed due to not enough seats. although I volunteered to stay behind and offered compensation it seemed that easy jet found ways to stop 4 people getting on the flight who were desperate to get home. In the end me and my partner could get on the flight but it was distressing for everyone. Expectations were set and then ripped away. Flights going home were expensive also...£338
Excellent holiday flight with no delays either going or coming back. Only the legroom on Easyjet flights are somehow unjustified. Packed like sardines with knees pressed into forward seat is not comfortable.
Flights on time ... quite comfortable...good variety of drinks and snacks...only little complaint was no one welcomed us on board ...the cabin crew had obviously had a poor flight before ours and were clear unhappy

All good. Check in was easy with helpful people on hand. We have travelled with EasyJet more in recent times (mainly due to a decline in standards/bad experiences with BA) and have yet to have any problems. EasyJet seem to be getting better. No issues with the flight and whole experience was 'easy' as the brand would suggest.
