The combination of turquoise waters, soft sands, and clear waters make this bay an exotic setting, not to mention that it is surrounded by high cliffs. Lemonakia is easily accessible by public transportation or car, and is really popular among tourists.

Tsamadou is the most beautiful beach on the island of Samos. Located about 2 miles from Kokkari, Tsamadou is an attractive bay surrounded by lush vegetation and turquoise waters. There is a small path that directs you to the main road which will lead you to the beach lined with charming taverns and a few bars.

The waves rise when there are strong winds in Tsamadou, but that rarely happens. It is an ideal beach to relax but be aware that this is the only official nudist beach in the island of Samos.

On the southwest coast of Chios is the beach of Mavros Gialos (also known as Mavra Volia), at a distance of 17 miles to the west of Chios. The name refers to a small pebble and sand coming from the extinct volcano that was in the area.

Thanks to this unique feature of Mavros Gialos, it earned a good reputation among tourists, making it a must-see destination. It has an unparalleled natural beauty with fresh crystal blue water even in the summer.

A few miles from the village of Potos and 26 miles south of Limenas is a small settlement called Astris. It has a beautiful sandy beach which is also very steep, therefore there are no big waves on the shore.

There is also a strong underwater current that does not make it entirely suitable for children. However, water sports enthusiasts can go wild with jet skis. You'll find a couple of taverns behind the beach and one on the hill. It's good to know that during high season the tourists flock to the beach.
