Hurghada International Airport is the second busiest airport in Egypt after Cairo, and a gateway to its Red Sea Riviera, one of the country's key leisure destinations. There are two terminals.
A number of airlines operate flights to Hurghada including: Thomas Cook Airlines, Ryanair and TUIfly.
Hurghada Airport is located about 3 miles southwest of El Dahar in the centre of Hurghada.
It takes about 15 minutes to drive between the airport and the city centre, and there are car rental agencies in the terminal. Taxis are available outside the terminal building. If you wish to take the bus, you can get one outside the terminal building to the city centre and to other resort areas.
