When is the best time to fly from London to Bali?

How to get to the airport:

  • Train: London Victoria Rail Station has a 24/7 service called Gatwick Express. Regular services run all day. Your 30 minute journey will cost from £16 per person.
  • Bus: Buses from central London will take about an hour and half. National Express and Megabus are the biggest and most well-known companies, offering fares from around £10.
  • Taxi: Taxis prices start at £20 per person from central London and take 90 minutes.

Most services are open from 0400-2100, including left luggage (which is open 0500-2200), 24/7 free Wi-Fi, etc. Gatwick boasts a huge range of shopping, relaxing and dining options across its terminals. However, they do not have smoking facilities so you will need to have your last smoke outside the terminal buildings.

How to get to the airport:

  • London Underground: Take the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow, which has stations at terminals 1-3, 4 & 5. Cash fares start from £6, but you can get much cheaper deals in advance or on prepaid cards. Your journey will take less than 60 minutes from central London.
  • Train: Paddington Rail Station has multiple trains per hour to Heathrow, which are run by different operators . Fares start at £20 per person and your journey will take around half an hour.
  • Bus: regular National Express services from London Victoria. Journeys will take about an hour and a half and start from £10.
  • Taxi: Airport taxi trips from central London can be as quick as 60 minutes, and will charge in the region of £20 to £30, with more expensive options for executive travel if needed.
