Travel to Amsterdam airport

Flights from Amsterdam to Manchester run from either Schiphol, Eindhoven or Rotterdam The Hague airports. Amsterdam's main airport, Schiphol, is located about 9 miles from the city centre and is connected by frequent trains from the Amsterdam Central station, which take around 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, several buses run to the airport including the 197 Airport Express, bus 310, 69 and 300. Journey time is around 30 minutes. There is a direct AirExpressBus running between Amsterdam and Eindhoven Airport. To get to Rotterdam The Hague Airport, the quickest way is to take the intercity train from Amsterdam Central to Rotterdam, which links to the RET 33 bus to the airport.

Arriving in Manchester

Get up close and personal with the legendary Manchester United and Manchester City football clubs by taking a stadium tour. Travelling to the city centre

Manchester flights from Amsterdam will arrive at Manchester Airport, situated 9 miles south west of Manchester city centre along the M56 motorway, close to the M6 and the M60 motorways. The airport has three terminals that are connected by moving Skylink walkways. There are regular train services that run seven days a week to the city centre via TransPennine Express and Northern Rail train operators (around 20 minutes). Numerous local bus services run to and from the airport including the 200, 18 (via The Trafford Centre), 43 and 105. The new Metrolink tram also connects with the airport with a service from the airport to Cornbrook, where frequent connections continue onto the city centre.
