The Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) is the main airport serving Singapore. It is the hub for Singapore Airlines with over 100 additional airlines operating flights to 60+ countries worldwide. The airport has 3 terminals and is 11 miles from Singapore city centre. The cheapest way to get from Changi Airport to Singapore centre is by the public bus #36 which leaves from all terminals; the journey takes about 1 hour. There is also a 24-hour shuttle bus to hotels in the city or the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train that leaves from Terminal 2 and 3. Take the train west bound to Tanah Merah station and transfer to an east bound train to go to Singapore city.
