Seoul, officially named the Seoul Special City, is the capital of South Korea. It is located on the Han River and surrounded by mountains. The city has a population of over 10 million inhabitants and is a world centre of economics and culture. With over 700 museums, famous theatres, like the Sejong Centre for Performing Arts, and numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Seoul not only boasts history but also modern and fast-paced culture in a city where technology is on the forefront.

Seoul Airport

Seoul Incheon Airport is one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. The airport opened in 2001, and consistently ranks as one of the world's best airports, which is no surprise as it has luxurious ammenities such as a golf course, a spa, ice-skating rink, etc. 90 airlines operate flights out of Incheon Airport to international destinations as well as domestic. To get from Incheon Airport to Seoul city centre the two best options are by bus or train. The airport buses are called Limousine buses and the price to downtown Seoul is about £6 (9,000-10,000 South Korean Won). Outside of the main terminal is the Incheon Airport Railroad, where you can take the Airport Express (A'REX) with non-stop service to Seoul leaving every 30 minutes, or all-station service trains leaving every 6 minutes. Non-stop service takes 43 minutes, while all-station service takes 53 minutes.
