Corfu Airports
Corfu International Airport (also known as Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport) is located close to Corfu Town and offers both domestic and international flights. Several international operators handle flights to Corfu and air travel is at its peak during the summer months.
The airport is situated about 2 miles south of Corfu Town and less than 1 mile north of Pontikonisi.
Transportation
A number of car rental companies operate from the airport. The motorway Route 25 runs from the airport to the centre of Corfu Town. Local buses number 5 and 6 stop at the airport and connect with Corfu Town in about 10 minutes. There are also numerous bus services that leave from the Corfu Airport bus station and head to a range of destinations across the island. Taxis are available from outside the terminal building.
