Merignac Airport (Bordeaux) , 27/09/2011
It is my first time to answer this type of survey. My experience was indeed so bad, I still have strong feelings towards Bordeaux Merignac.The airport location requires to take a taxi or bus to the city Bordeaux (no tram or train!) - It took me 1 hour 45 min to join the Train Station of Bordeaux with the "navette Jet" (45 min to wait for a bus and one hour to the train station). On my way back, I took a taxi (25 min)...not cheap indeed.My experience with Easyjet, absolutely dreadful.

This airport is very hard to get to. There are no trains, the buses go very infrequently, and a taxi is very expensive (65 euros from Toulon station). There is little information on the website about how to get to the station.

The airport is dated and there is little to stop the unlicensed taxi drivers approaching you straight out of arrivals like moths to a flame

Arrived in Terminal 1, and it was awful. Power outage, so the RER wasn't running, so there were masses of crowds waiting for transportation and nobody was organizing it well - nobody had any idea where to go. It was difficult to find taxis and it took us 2 hours to get transportation.
