Airports - Rating of shops

perfect shopping, clear signs, relaxed ambiance

a very nice airport with a large shopping area across the street and a direct link to the Rail lines very convenient.

We checked in online and on arrival at the airport used the drop off point. As my husband is 6ft 5" we asked if we could change our seats for an emergency exit which the duly did. The airport was well signposted, the people were were friendly helpful and security was quick. Within the departure lounge there were Free Internet Access, free wifi, children's play area and also music entertainment (at specified times), plus various shops, coffee bars etc. Once we had cleared and purchased our tax free items we then waited at our designated depature gate. Here there were some comfortable resting chairs where you could put your feet up and have a sleep if required or watch the planes coming and going as the airport is all glass windows. Here there was also a coffee bar and tax free shop. The toilets were also clean with ample space (not small and cramped).As this airport is announcement free there is it is up to each individual to ensure that they read the departure board which is found as you come down the stairs to the departure hall. However it is up to each individual to check where they are going and I found that there were not enough departure screens in the main departure lounge. A few more screens dotted around would have been helpful.Overall I was very impressed with the efficiency and also the cleanliness of the is airport.
