Split Airport (Split) , 06/10/2011
I had special assistance at the Split Airport as well as at Gatwick. The lady that wheeled me to the luggage carousel was very professional, kind and would not accept a tip.Great bus connections to Split from the airport.The airport could have a shop specializing in Croatian grown fruit, lavender sachets, Croation liquers, beer, etc....

the airport is clean, even the toilets, the attendants are friendly and can speak english. you can take a direct bus from the airport to Kiev centre with a comfortable bus. the wifi which is everywhere at the airport is free. the food and coffee excellent and good value for money. there are 2 money exchange places in the building. lots of taxis, but they are overcharging in general.

This airport is very active. I have arrived at early hours in the morning and there are people there to help if need be. There was a bus at 3 in the morning to take you to the main station these run on the half hour..or there are taxis waiting as well.
