Senior Java Developer

ODIGEO, the nº1 online travel agency in Europe resulting from merge eDreams, GoVoyages and Opodo, is looking for talented Senior Java Developers to join our engineering team.

 

Ideal candidate will have a minimum experience of 3 years in JAVA analysis and development for high performance applications. Experience within the tourism sector is highly valuable, in particular with GDSs integrations: Amadeus, Galileo, or in Hotels or Finance Booking systems.

 

Essential requirements & Experience

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (IT engineer). Briliant academic record.
  • +3 years experience in a complex technology environments
  • Expert knowledge of Java programming language/coding
  • Solid know-how in Java Enterprise Edition 5 : servlets, JSP, JSF 1.2, EJB 3.0, JPA
  • Solid know-how in Oracle
  • Solid know-how in MySQL

 

Desired requirements

  • Opensource (OSS) standard migration experience
  • Web Development for platforms with high load and concurrency
  • Unit test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) experience
  • Spring
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • Versions Control (SVN)
  • Analysis documentation and Design in UML
  • Gathering and formalizing requirements
  • Experience using J2EE, JBOSS and/or GlassFish applications servers
  • Amadeus XML API
  • Java SUN Certifications
